Description
Asphalt mixtures incorporating crumb rubber have been successfully used all over the world. The aim of this paper is to give a brief description of the technology used in the production of asphalt rubber, to introduce specific issues concerning its application in pavement works and to report on the experience gathered in California, South Africa and Portugal.
