Studies of Asphalt Rubber Using Various Sources of Ground Tire Rubber

$7.00

Description

Samples of ground tire rubber (GTR) from four different sources were classified according to their production process. The GTR incorporation in asphalt cement was made with the addition of different aromatic diluents. GTR samples were evaluated through thermal gravimetric analysis – TG and particle size. Diluents used during asphalt rubber preparation were derived from FCC process, lubricating production process and shale oil. The final products – asphalt rubber binders were evaluated per SUPERPAVE equipment and their behavior was compared according to the source of GTR and diluents.
