Creep Flow Behavior of Asphalt Rubber Binder. The Zero-Shear Viscosity Analysis

$7.00

Description

The development of the European technical specification aims at characterizing the asphalt binder behavior by means of rheological measurements and performance-related properties determination. In this context an experimental investigation was carried out at the University of Parma in order to characterize asphalt rubber binders by the Zero-Shear Viscosity (ZSV) analysis. This specific test highlights the binder performance in the operating
conditions typical of hot climate, where the damages due to the viscous flow (rutting) are significant.
In this paper the determination of Zero-Shear Viscosity (ZSV) in creep mode of asphalt rubber binders is presented and the theoretical and experimental critical aspects are highlighted.
