A Laboratory Evaluation of Rubber Reclaim Use in Modified Asphalt

$7.00

Description

Crumb rubber, preliminarily softened by various petroleum and coal products, was added to road asphalt of D-70 grade with the purpose of improving its visco-elastic properties. The influence of the reclaim on penetration, viscosity and temperature susceptibility of the initial asphalt have been evaluated. Both the main parameters of the reclaiming process of rubber, and chemical nature of the softener impact considerably the essential characteristics of the reclaim modified asphalt.
